Funny kids' quotes from today

Ben: MOM!!!! I just stepped on my own ankle!! Really! My own ankle!! And then it fell right off.

Kaela was learning to make a snowman. I showed her how to start a snowball by shaping one in her hands, then rolling it to make it bigger. She listened, but wouldn't try it on her own. So I asked her, "Sis, are you gonna build this snowman, or what?"
She replied, "Mom. (She says it like a statement; like she needs to speak slowly for me to get it.) If I roll the snowball the way you suggested, it will only pick up the snow in its path. Getting a snowball to grow big will take forever! I am thinking of a way to get all the snow in the yard onto this snowball at once."
Me, feeling like a caveman: "Listen, Einstein. It's 24 degrees out here. For generations, people have been building snowmen using the 'roll the snowball' method I just showed you. Roll him a body, and you can work on drawing up a better plan when we go in where it's warm."
Guess what she's working on right now??
Reminds me of growing up with Pete....
