Work Day

Kaela, Ben and I spent the day at Neeny's house getting it ready to sell. My sister and her husband are going to be buying it and moving in soon. Today, several of us met over there and tore out carpet, scrubbed walls, and went through treasures. It was exhausting, and that was before we even began working.

Then, we came home and got our house ready for a couple of July 4th parties here this weekend! Tomorrow night, family and neighbors. Saturday night, Sunday School class.

I love how the deck looks tonight. I found some of these lights in boxes from my dorm room in college, and the rest are just Christmas lights. Free, festive ambience! Right now, I'm thinking it looks like a good place to curl up with a book...
