I Wrote a Song Today

It's called, "Why do they pretend that drive-thru pharmacies are actually more convenient than the regular kind, especially when it's 100 degrees outside, the computer's broken, gas costs $4 a gallon, the whole world is waiting behind me in this un-convenient line, and no one understands that a prescription group id number is the same thing as a health insurance id number, I promise, because I have no reason to make up stories for you--here, ask my husband while I push the cell phone through the little un-convenient drive thru window and buy myself some time before I just either laugh really hard or cry really loudly, either of which is likely to draw some attention to myself, and not the good kind!"

Wanna hear the lyrics? There's only one:

Aargh!

(But you have to move your mouth like Charlie Brown's when he's mad at Lucy, all scrunched up and wavering. It's all in the delivery, and is harder than it sounds. hehe!)

I like that song! And I sing it often! Especially when I'm on hold with the cable company.
