Kid Interview

Here are some questions Kaela and Ben answered for me. Kaela will be 7 in two weeks, and Ben will be 4 on Saturday. They crack me up!

1. What does Mommy say all the time?
K--"I love you."
B--"You're not in charge." (Ha! True!)

2. What makes Mommy happy?
K--Me!
B--Me! (also true!)

3. What makes Mommy sad?
K--When I mess around in her classroom and we have to clean up before we leave
B--When cars run over her. (Um, yeah...)

4. What does Mommy do to make you laugh?
K--Tickle us
B--Play with us

5. What was Mommy like as a child?
K--You probably got in a lot of trouble!
B--toys
me-- No, what was I like, not what did I like..?
B--Oh! Dolls.

6. How old is Mommy?
K--32
B--sixteen fourteen

7. What does Mommy do when you're not around?
K--Work
B--Probably cry and be sad

8. If Mommy were to get famous, what would it be for?
K--Singing people to sleep. You're good at that.
B--Riding elephants

9. What is Mommy good at?
K--Singing
B--Throwing books (Don't know how he knows this, but I suspect I do have a gift here...ha. No seriously. I don't throw books. )

10. What is Mommy not good at?
K-- Carrying us
B--Doing magic tricks

11. What does Mommy do that makes you proud?
K--Ask Ben first--I need to think about that! (Keep it real, Baby. Keep it real. :-) )
B--Have pretty eyes

12. What does Mommy like most about Daddy?
K--He makes you laugh.
B--He is cool.

And one more cute anecdote just for fun:
Yesterday, Ben asked me if 46 is a big number. "Well, it depends," I told him. "If you had 46 blades of grass in your yard, that wouldn't be a lot, because yards have THOUSANDS of blades of grass. But if, say, you saw 46 dudes running around with no heads, that would be a whole lot, because that's something you never see!"
Ben laughed hard, then said, "Yeah, those guys wouldn't be doing much thinking, either, huh?"
