Weekend Festivity (part 1)

While the rest of the world (around here) watches the big rivalry football game, I will be attending a real Pow Wow for part of our Native Americans unit!

I'm thinking of wearing this:

and we chose this for Kaela:


I tried to talk Ben into scalping our dog Millie for his costume, but he wouldn't agree.
Eric read that last part and said, "Nice stereotyping." Whatever. I'm not stereotyping! When I googled images, half of the pictures for young boys had animal heads as hoods and the skins for a cape. Naturally, I thought about the only mongrel we have around here! :)
