The stars all aligned this morning. Our bathroom is no longer black! I was finishing the clean, new, taupe paint in an enclosed room (the better to smell the paint, my dear) when I'm Not That Girl from Wicked came on my Glee Pandora radio station.
Have you ever seen the Seinfeld episode where Elaine's boyfriend goes into this otherworldly trance every time he hears The Eagles sing Desperado?
Paint + the end of summer projects + the best song from the best musical = moments you wish would last forever.
Right up there with the birth of your children or fireworks on the beach.
Just being silly. Before and after pics to come soon, though....I'm thrilled that daggone bathroom is done! Took the entire summer since the broken elbow put a hold on things!!
If you're ever tempted to think that chalkboard paint would look cool in an entire room....don't. It doesn't.
