It's 2:00 a.m. I unlocked the door over an hour ago, and have been trying to sleep since. BUT...The cabinets are thumping open and closed, the water is running, heavy footsteps are falling up and down and up again on the stairs. "Shut up, you lying dirtbag!" drifts up the stairs at regular intervals, followed by roaring laughter and the softer sounds of my sisters-in-law fighting the losing fight at maintaining some sense of decorum.
I just heard, "That wasn't MY fault!" followed by, "Don't tell Amy. We will fix it."
Oy.
The boys are back in town.
I love them! I really do!
Thinking I'll love them even more in the quiet of the early morning, as we're stepping over their splayed frames on the way out the door to church. Then we can change the locks.

Realtime conversation.....
David: I need some underwear.
Pete: You're 2 feet away from the laundry room. Your treasure can be found there. Clean or dirty, take your pick!
Mark: Hand him a thong!
Bwahaha!!!

Go. To. Bed. Knuckleheads!

Let the Christmas season of 2010 officially commence!
