She's got a new kindergarten haircut.
She's got a backpack full of school supplies.
She's positively humming with excitement for Open House.
She met 2 friends last week (daughters of teacher friends who will be in the same class) that we invited over to swim, and is so excited to know people there now!
She knows every nook and cranny of the school building, and her Mommy will be right around the corner from her all day.
Today, she's going to the afterschool program for 3 hours while I attend a short professional developement.
She wants me to notify the press, and has called all her grandparents.
Eric is so excited for her!
I'm about to throw up. All those kindergarten parents every year, crowding the doorways, taking pictures, hanging out too long, crying on the way out the door...the ones I have always thought may be just a tad over the top...
It appears my time has come.
