Growth Plan

Do you ever feel as though you're wrestling with God?

I love/hate those times. It's one of those seasons right now. Have you been there? Where every single sermon is written just for you, and where more and more you realize all the ways you miss the mark--but then at the same time long to get your aim adjusted again? Shoot. It's exhausting. Every sermon lately--BAM. Every priority--reevaluated. I keep praying that He'll just show me plainly, and help me to be teachable and discerning--knowing full well that most days I am neither. Don't you ever just wish that certain messages would be spelled out for you, say, in the fog on the bathroom mirror when you get out of the shower? So much less margin for error that way.

I guess that would kind of miss the point of learning faith, though, huh?

Oh, yes! This SO speaks to me. I'm just thankful that He never stops pursuing me, even when I punk out and lose my focus on Him. May there be great growth ahead for you (and for me!)
