Here are today's quotes...
Ben: Mom, can I have....Mom, can I have....Mom, can I have....I don't know what it is, but can I have it?
Ben: I want dat thing where you got to be 18 or older. Can we get one? (It's something with magnets, but he keeps talking about "18 or older" and it cracks us up)
And every time Kaela goes downstairs or to a friend's house, he stands at the top of the stairs with his hands on his hips and says, "What will I do wifout my best friend?"
He hums the tune of the Nutcracker Suite all the time, and gets mad when I try to teach him the next part of the movement. He's thinking he's hot stuff tonight, because Kaela has 2 friends spending the night and he's involved in all their shenanigans. We all went to school for movie night in our pajamas earlier, and he was right in the thick of the action. You should see him strut.
Pictures of Kaela at her first chorus concert are coming. They were so cute.
OH, and here's a first: We had a kid hand out R-rated Valentines today. They're scratch and sniff, and when you scratch them off, the secret messages are all suggestive. Where does one even go to buy R-rated Valentines in a pack of 32? Seems like if there was a market for those, you'd still buy them singularly...That's just weird. But sure was interesting, trying to get them out of the 5th graders' hands before they could ask questions.
Never a dull moment.
Still working on the 6-word memoir....
Thank God it's Friday.
Goodnight.
