Small Thing #1

We have a gorgeous burning bush in front of our house. It looks like this:



Which made me think that painting the front door a pretty red would complement it now, and at Christmas look like this:



Instead, it looks like this. Do you see the signs of a struggle? This is not a Halloween prop, unfortunately. We're calling it massacre red. At least Eric's laughing about it...





Fixing it is seriously going to cut into my NaBloPoMo time.
