My dad was a high school science teacher. Our house growing up was an interesting place. The basement was full of fauna and flora and bugs and butterflies and ocean critters and aquariums of reptiles and anything else he found fascinating.
The first time we went to our friends Matt and Sarah's house, I knew we had found kindred spirits! Their basement is the same way!!
This is what they gave Kaela for her 6th birthday back in October. As you can see, it's quite the hit. This is what our children are up to each afternoon these days. Today's experiment: discerning acids from bases. Thank you again, Vanderpools!
