Book, anyone?

I'm looking for a new book to read! Any suggestions?
Russ Moore reviewed the autobiography of Charles Shultz, and that's on my list, but right now I'm looking for something that I can really chew and reflect on over spring break during the kids' naptimes. I'm not really in a 'fiction' mood, either.
Thanks for your help!

Amy, one of my favorite books is "The Cross of Christ" by John Stott. I think every Christian should read it at some point in his/her life. A book I want to read (and will when I get to choose what I read) is "The World is Flat" by Thomas Friedman. It is an overview of the history of the 21st Century and Friedman's analysis of what ten factors "flattened" the world.

All my book suggestions would be fiction at the moment. But, I have read The World is Flat. Make sure you get the latest version as Friedman has updated it. I loved it...basically because it tracks my career and mentions companies I worked for. :) Another business type book like that but isn't as long as The World is Flat is Blink by Malcolm Gladwell. He talks about the The Power of Thinking without Thinking and uses psychology as the basis of marketing.

Hi Amy,
I always love reading biographies. Elisabeth Elliot has some great ones. And I'll always love, love, love Corrie ten Boom's The Hiding Place. I'm trying to find time to read A Chance to Die, a biography about Amy Carmichael by Elisabeth Elliot. Another book on my list to read is Evidence Not Seen by Darlene Deibler Rose.

Happy Reading!
